True Hearts diamonds display perfect symmetry and proportions, which optimize light return and brilliance. When viewed under special devices, True Hearts diamonds exhibit a special pattern of eight hearts and eight arrows, which reflect these diamonds unique characteristics.

Because True Hearts diamonds are perfectly in proportion, they reflect back the maximum amount of light, adding an unequaled level of beauty. The symmetry each diamond displays allows the light to reflect directly and evenly back to your eye, in the same way a mirror does and thus heightening the diamond's brilliance.

True Hearts diamonds require additional craftsmanship and raw material than other diamond cuts. Each True Hearts diamond facets and pavilions must be aligned at exactly 180 degrees in relation to each other in order for the symmetry to be achieved. If even the slightest asymmetry is present, the entire configuration will be disrupted.

In order to achieve a perfect configuration, the diamond cutter gives up a great deal of rough stone in return for a diamond which can be smaller, but because it is rarer, more valuable. Less than one percent of all diamonds are able to achieve this level of symmetry and it takes four times longer to create a True Hearts diamond. It is this type of precision which makes True Hearts diamonds nothing short of spectacular.
